Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pieter Scheel made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 played minutes Tripsrath got a freekick which was hit by Otfried Kornrumpf. Pieter Scheel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Louis Langsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dose's zone, Pieter Scheel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis Langsch came out of the goal and Pieter Scheel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hans-Hermann Hübner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Krasselt in the 20th minute of play forced Tripsrath's goalkeeper Pascal Englmaier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Hans-Hermann Hübner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dose's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans-Hermann Hübner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascal Englmaier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Louis Langsch stood somewhat misplaced when Pieter Scheel came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hans-Hermann Hübner was the one to do the kick off. Dose's Hans-Hermann Hübner got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl Wolber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torsten Friedrich's late challenge caught a Tripsrath's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torsten Friedrich helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dose's Torsten Friedrich got a free kick in the 85th minute. Otfried Kornrumpf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
