The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Eisinghausen FC defense, Rudolf Gögge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Heiko Förster. The Eisinghausen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Heiko Förster should have stopped the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Eisinghausen FC's goalkeeper Heiko Förster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolf Gögge. Heiko Förster didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rudolf Gögge went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Pitsch in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heiko Förster saved Eisinghausen FC from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Eisinghausen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Pitsch came free, but Heiko Förster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Perry Herzig sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heiko Förster skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albrecht Eggenfeld during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuel Pitsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Heiko Förster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heiko Förster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Pitsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Grunwald stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Emanuel Pitsch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maria Rain FSV and the Eisinghausen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Maria Rain FSV got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Pitsch. With an all-out effort, Eisinghausen FC's Per Zagermann threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Grunwald, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brian Bach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Zagermann having to interfere. Heiko Förster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud Kickermann in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Eisinghausen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Gögge came free, but Heiko Förster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Maria Rain FSV's goalkeeper Per Zagermann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Bach. Heiko Förster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Pitsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Brian Bach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eisinghausen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Bach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Zagermann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rudolf Gögge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Pitsch struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Heiko Förster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maria Rain FSV. Heiko Förster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Gögge in the 89th minute of the match. Rudolf Gögge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiko Förster having to interfere. If Rudolf Gögge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Maria Rain FSV had played much better football throughout.
