Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Özgür Schütte got the match started through his kick off. Benni Jung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karsten Vogler in the 4th minute of play. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Sven Muhs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven Muhs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Benni Jung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Patrick Lorenz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benni Jung was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benni Jung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karsten Vogler, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Lew Brandborn kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Karsten Vogler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benni Jung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes, Kunibert Ziegenhagen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zeschnig and the Rietberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kunibert Ziegenhagen hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karsten Vogler in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benni Jung prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kurt Wolf made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Toralf Klose sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute Karsten Vogler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benni Jung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Zeschnig's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Muhs came free, but Benni Jung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Muhs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benni Jung having to interfere. Sven Muhs succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The Zeschnig players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rietberg were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Karsten Vogler made the kick off in the second half. Karsten Vogler might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benni Jung. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karsten Vogler ran back to his position shaking his head. Karsten Vogler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. After 60 played minutes Zeschnig got a freekick which was hit by Ed Kleimeier. Karsten Vogler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Zeschnig's Kunibert Ziegenhagen got a free kick in the 64th minute. Sven Muhs struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Benni Jung didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rietberg. In the 73rd minute of the match Lew Brandborn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kurt Wolf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kunibert Ziegenhagen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven Muhs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Kurt Wolf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 90 minutes, Sven Muhs mouthed his way into the referee's book.
