Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Forstwald FSV's Eckart Wilbert started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Forstwald FSV's goalkeeper Eckart Bastmüller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lothar Stockhauss short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Eckart Bastmüller to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lothar Stockhaus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eckart Bastmüller having to make a save. Ralf-Joachim Schaffrath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eckart Wilbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Herbert Nafz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Philipp Follmann fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Leo Weigelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lothar Stockhaus in the 35th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Eckart Bastmüller kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Philipp Follmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eckart Bastmüller having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Stephan Lilleike hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Forstwald FSV's Stephan Lilleike got a free kick in the 41st minute.

The wind increased when Lothar Stockhaus made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Philipp Follmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borgwedde FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Philipp Follmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eckart Bastmüller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eckart Bastmüller came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Borgwedde FSV's Philipp Follmann. But to his dismay, Philipp Follmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Eckart Bastmüller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lothar Stockhaus's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. If Philipp Follmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Massimo Eckert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ralf-Joachim Schaffrath made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Massimo Eckert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Massimo Eckert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ralf-Joachim Schaffrath tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, Forstwald FSV's Massimo Eckert made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralf-Joachim Schaffrath was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Massimo Eckert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralf-Joachim Schaffrath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eckart Wilbert in the 85th minute of play. Eckart Bastmüller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothar Stockhaus in the 93rd minute of the match. Forstwald FSV's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
