The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Norman Gall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Luft in the 3rd minute of play. Norman Gall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Luft in the 5th minute of the match. Sascha Heffungs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 10 played minutes Fürstenfeldbruck got a freekick which was hit by Julian Ripkens. Bülsberg's Sascha Heffungs got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Michael Luft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Rösgen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sascha Heffungs in the 24th minute of the match. The corner led Bülsberg's Frederik Feinbier to fire away a dangerous shot which Peter Rösgen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Fürstenfeldbruck booed when Bülsberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ansgar Balke didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Nils Trautmann sped through Bülsberg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norman Gall. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Sascha Heffungs made the kick off in the second half. Norman Gall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Luft in the 52nd minute of play. Nils Trautmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Gall having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Jan-Philipp Kraatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Nils Trautmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fürstenfeldbruck's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Trautmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norman Gall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nils Trautmann didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 62nd minute. Fürstenfeldbruck's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Fürstenfeldbruck's Peter Rösgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sascha Heffungs in the 67th minute of play. Jan-Philipp Kraatz hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Nils Trautmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The referee gave Jan-Philipp Kraatz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jan-Philipp Kraatz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Nils Trautmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fürstenfeldbruck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Trautmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Fürstenfeldbruck players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
