Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kosbach FC's Dieter Arlt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Neusiß was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Witzke to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute of the match Marco Stein sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Göller skillfully saved the ball. Felix Brechbilder kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Danny Kindels short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Alvo Goiny to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dario Schwienheer charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Schwienheer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 16 minutes into the game, Neusiß's Sascha Kosten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvo Goiny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 19th minute, Kosbach FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sascha Kosten fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kosbach FC were furious when Dietbald Pickart was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Kosbach FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Neusiß:s goal. In the 31st minute, Neusiß got a penalty, and Thomas Witzke placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. In the 33rd match minute, Neusiß was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Geisberger to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Neusiß's zone, Felix Brechbilder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Göller came out of the goal and Felix Brechbilder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gus Schmidtschaff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Paul Göller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurenz Scholl hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sascha Kosten to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Kosbach FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sascha Kosten came free, but Alvo Goiny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Schwienheer kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Marco Stein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
