Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hannes Schwer got the match started through his kick off. Benjamin Handrich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 minutes, Florian Thier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granderheide and the Baldereck players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Granderheide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Thier to maneuver through the defense. Josef Akemann in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pascal Weniger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 16 minutes into the match, Alexander Weibler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascal Weniger. Granderheide's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Weibler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Sven-Philipp Komor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Dammers having to interfere. Alexander Weibler's late challenge caught a Granderheide's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Weibler helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Granderheide booed when Baldereck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Weibler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Baldereck's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Schwer came free, but Sebastian Dammers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Baldereck's Benjamin Handrich ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pascal Weniger. Pascal Weniger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Sven-Philipp Komor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 38th match minute, Baldereck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Weibler to maneuver through the defense. Hannes Schwer took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Dammers. Sebastian Dammers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Handrich made a kick off. Baldereck's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lars Stöteler in the 59th minute. Lars Stöteler made a great header on Baldereck's corner, it was just that Granderheide's Pascal Weniger managed to reach the ball for a save. Baldereck were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Granderheide's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lars Stöteler took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Lars Stöteler got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pascal Weniger quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 68th minute of the match Baldereck got a corner. Granderheide's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lars Stöteler ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lars Stöteler made a great header on Baldereck's corner, it was just that Granderheide's Pascal Weniger managed to reach the ball for a save. Benjamin Handrich blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascal Weniger having to make a save. Pascal Weniger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Akemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 100 minutes into the match, Benjamin Handrich notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Granderheide's Pascal Weniger. Pascal Weniger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
