Kay Presser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Meyer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Kay Presser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Meyer having to interfere. Ruben Meyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Gehlen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebaldsbrück's Ruben Meyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Sebaldsbrück from getting a goal against them. Bernhard Kluge's late challenge caught a Klauserhof FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernhard Kluge helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sebaldsbrück getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Erich Abt hit a great ball. Klauserhof FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sebaldsbrück the free kick. Meikel Gill kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.
