Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernhard Heintz started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Nico Wittmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scheidingen FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Wittmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Elmer charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Elmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernhard Heintz had several of the Alpsray's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Georges Deicke as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scheidingen FSV's goalkeeper Dirk Boedefeld, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Reinhard Pechkopf came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Alpsray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinhard Pechkopf couldn't finish the play. Roland-Nicolas Paulus hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Jan Steimer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Scheidingen FSV's Dirk Boedefeld didn't even have to move. Dirk Boedefeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieter Schimon in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinhard Pechkopf in the 28th minute of play forced Scheidingen FSV's goalkeeper Dirk Boedefeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dieter Schimon came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Alpsray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dieter Schimon couldn't finish the play. Georges Deicke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernhard Heintz in the 32nd minute of play. Reinhard Pechkopf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dirk Boedefeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Scheidingen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Albrecht Wenning. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Dieter Schimon sped through Scheidingen FSV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dirk Boedefeld. Reinhard Pechkopf scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dirk Boedefeld, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernhard Heintz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georges Deicke having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinhard Pechkopf made a kick off. Scheidingen FSV's Nico Wittmann got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfons Klöffer hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Bernhard Heintz came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Scheidingen FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernhard Heintz couldn't finish the play. Georges Deicke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernhard Heintz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dirk Boedefeld made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dieter Schimon in the 66th minute. When Alex Elmer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Alpsray's Alex Elmer got a free kick in the 69th minute. Bernhard Heintz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georges Deicke having to make a save. Bernhard Heintz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georges Deicke having to interfere. If Bernhard Heintz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 88 minutes, Alfons Klöffer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpsray and the Scheidingen FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfons Klöffer kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Georges Deicke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Wittmann in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Dieter Schimon made a precise shot to the right of Dirk Boedefeld. Scheidingen FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When Alfons Klöffer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. In the 96th minute, Alfons Klöffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alpsray had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
