In the 12thth minute of the game Klaus Konig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scharberg's Hark Limburg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Schmalzmaier FC's Klaus Konig was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, Scharberg's Hark Limburg got control of the ball when Alexander Hübner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Schmalzmaier FC's Michael-Jan Genau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bodo Blüthmann in the 24th minute of play. Hark Limburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaus Konig in the 76th minute of the match. Arndt Wiskandt hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Alexander Hübner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Alexander Hübner came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Schmalzmaier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Hübner couldn't finish the play.
