Hans-Jürgen Nabrotzki charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans-Jürgen Nabrotzki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Hans-Jürgen Nabrotzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddi Walleitner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Budden having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Sankt Germanshof FC's goalkeeper Gunnar Budden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddi Walleitner. When Boris Kraft fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sankt Germanshof FC's protests and gave Boris Kraft a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Sankt Germanshof FC got a freekick which was hit by Boris Kraft. Hark Limburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Kraft in the 18th minute of play. Ingo Hotzy hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A collision led to Scharberg getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ove Zollt hit a great ball. When Eddi Walleitner came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Scharberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddi Walleitner couldn't finish the play. If Bodo Blüthmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ingo Hotzy was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Scharberg's Ingo Hotzy got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Ove Zollt fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of Sankt Germanshof FC booed when Scharberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Zollt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Scharberg's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Posch came free, but Hark Limburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eddi Walleitner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luke Posch got free with Hark Limburg in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddi Walleitner in the 69th minute of play forced Sankt Germanshof FC's goalkeeper Gunnar Budden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Eddi Walleitner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scharberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddi Walleitner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunnar Budden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gunnar Budden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddi Walleitner in the 83rd minute of the match. Ove Zollt struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Gunnar Budden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scharberg. Flavio Imort kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Eddi Walleitner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boris Kraft might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hark Limburg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boris Kraft ran back to his position shaking his head. After 93 minutes of play Scharberg's Ove Zollt was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Sankt Germanshof FC booed when Scharberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Zollt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Bodo Blüthmann suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lev Lewandowski during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lev Lewandowski kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
