Sierk Mayer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for bobimobil! If Oskar Weiß had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Frenzle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kuno Bach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Weiß in the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Rudolf Gentner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. bobimobil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Gentner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oskar Weiß fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuno Bach having to interfere. Frank Frenzle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Danielzick during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oswald Freud hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With his leg Gedeon Freitag managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when bobimobil's Tillmann Trenkel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 38 minutes into the game, FC Germania Peickwitz's Frank Frenzle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kuno Bach made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in FC Germania Peickwitz's zone, Tillmann Trenkel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gedeon Freitag came out of the goal and Tillmann Trenkel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The bobimobil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Germania Peickwitz were winning 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Frenzle was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Tillmann Trenkel managed to get in a good position for a shot. bobimobil's supporters rose to their feet, but Tillmann Trenkel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gedeon Freitag breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kuno Bach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Frenzle in the 56th minute of play. If Tillmann Trenkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute Frank Frenzle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Bach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, bobimobil's Richard Danielzick got a free kick in the 64th minute. FC Germania Peickwitz's Frank Frenzle got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the bobimobil defense, Oskar Weiß kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kuno Bach. The bobimobil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kuno Bach should have stopped the shot. Tillmann Trenkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gedeon Freitag having to interfere. When Frank Frenzle came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC Germania Peickwitz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Frenzle couldn't finish the play. A collision led to bobimobil getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Richard Danielzick hit a great ball. Gedeon Freitag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tillmann Trenkel in the 82nd minute of play. Oskar Weiß fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuno Bach having to interfere. When Oskar Weiß came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FC Germania Peickwitz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Weiß couldn't finish the play. Oskar Weiß was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. FC Germania Peickwitz's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Dennis Kleebauer fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Germania Peickwitz's protests and gave Dennis Kleebauer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Germania Peickwitz getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Dennis Kleebauer hit a great ball. The bobimobil supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Germania Peickwitz's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Germania Peickwitz.
