The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kilian Burckhardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Christian Goldblum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mirco Schramm's late challenge caught a Ostenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mirco Schramm helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Biesen FC got a freekick which was hit by Mirco Schramm. Christian Goldblum acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hendrix Kubisch. When Mirco Schramm was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 9 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Biesen FC's Mirco Schramm got a free kick in the 9th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Kilian Burckhardt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ostenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kilian Burckhardt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ekkehard Hellinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ekkehard Hellinger came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ostenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ekkehard Hellinger couldn't finish the play. Harry Kubin kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Ostenberg's Kilian Burckhardt got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ekkehard Hellinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Christian Goldblum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ostenberg's goalkeeper Ilja Fischer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sergej Altmaier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ekkehard Hellinger struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Christian Goldblum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ostenberg. After 45 minutes, Leopold Kallenbrunnen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Biesen FC and the Ostenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Biesen FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Leopold Kallenbrunnen hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Christian Goldblum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kilian Burckhardt in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Johannes Reiss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Biesen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ostenberg the free kick. Johannes Reiss kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Kilian Burckhardt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Goldblum having to interfere. Christian Goldblum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kilian Burckhardt in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, Ostenberg's Ilja Fischer got control of the ball when Sergej Altmaier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sergej Altmaier succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 72nd playminute. Sergej Altmaier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilja Fischer having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Ostenberg's goalkeeper Ilja Fischer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergej Altmaier. Johannes Reiss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ilja Fischer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 81st minute of the match Johannes Reiss completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Johannes Reiss a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Christian Goldblum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekkehard Hellinger in the 87th minute of play. Kilian Burckhardt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Goldblum having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Biesen FC got a freekick which was hit by Harry Kubin.
