Ostenberg's Ilja Fischer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirko Schultz in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Ostenberg's goalkeeper Ilja Fischer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steffen Logern. The supporters of Ostenberg booed when Gallun FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-André Kollar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Ekkehard Hellinger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Rogowski during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gallun FSV getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Leo Rogowski hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Kilian Burckhardt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ostenberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Steffen Logern might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilja Fischer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steffen Logern ran back to his position shaking his head. After 30 played minutes Ostenberg got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Schellheimer. Jerry Schellheimer hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Ostenberg's goalkeeper Ilja Fischer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steffen Logern. A collision led to Ostenberg getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Volker Radant hit a great ball. Volker Radant charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Volker Radant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Ostenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Volker Radant to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Gallun FSV's Marcel Neubrandt tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the game, Gallun FSV's Steffen Logern nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilja Fischer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Steffen Logern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilja Fischer having to interfere.

After a rather tough play, Ostenberg's Jerry Schellheimer got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 54th minute, one of Ostenberg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ostenberg. When Kilian Burckhardt came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ostenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kilian Burckhardt couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ekkehard Hellinger in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilhelm Grunwald prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Gallun FSV's zone, Ekkehard Hellinger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Grunwald came out of the goal and Ekkehard Hellinger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Kilian Burckhardt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ostenberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Kilian Burckhardt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilhelm Grunwald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Till Pätzold hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ekkehard Hellinger struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Wilhelm Grunwald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ostenberg. Ilja Fischer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirko Schultz in the 83rd minute of the match. Ilja Fischer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mirko Schultz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ekkehard Hellinger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilhelm Grunwald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kilian Burckhardt in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Ostenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Mirko Schultz came free, but Ilja Fischer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Ostenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Schellheimer to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Steffen Logern got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Steffen Logern's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilja Fischer was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gallun FSV fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ostenberg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
