Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mirko Schultz to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Mirco Schramm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Biesen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gallun FSV the free kick. Mirco Schramm hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Kubin in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilhelm Grunwald saved Gallun FSV from getting behind. A collision led to Biesen FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Mirco Schramm hit a great ball. Sergej Altmaier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Grunwald having to interfere. Harry Kubin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sergej Altmaier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gallun FSV's Till Pätzold got a free kick in the 69th minute. Sergej Altmaier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Wilhelm Grunwald made a huge save. Wilhelm Grunwald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergej Altmaier in the 76th minute. When Will Wessendorf fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The Biesen FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Biesen FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
