Ronny Schilde was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by FSV Thale 22's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sylvio Körner was slow to take the kick. During this time Dobritz's players had a chance to rest. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brad Bäz to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Jürgen Wiemer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ronny Schilde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sylvio Körner charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ronny Schilde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jürgen Wiemer in the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Johan Poß managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSV Thale 22's supporters rose to their feet, but Johan Poß was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronny Schilde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 minutes, Ubbo Dohrmann made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Dobritz's Ronny Schilde tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ubbo Dohrmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronny Schilde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ubbo Dohrmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Rudolf Brecher hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. FSV Thale 22's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Heinrich Wendlandt in the 90th minute. When FSV Thale 22's Johan Poß in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dobritz's goalie prevented a goal.
