After 5 played minutes Batschweiler FC got a freekick which was hit by Uffe Grimminger. Safet Burgmeier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Theo Schirmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Henning Rohn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batschweiler FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henning Rohn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Friess breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heiko Karhoff's late challenge caught a Ornecka Fighters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heiko Karhoff helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Batschweiler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiko Karhoff to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the game, Safet Burgmeier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ornecka Fighters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batschweiler FC the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Ornecka Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Safet Burgmeier to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henning Rohn in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Friess saved Ornecka Fighters from getting behind. Angel Friess showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fatih Körth in the 33rd minute of the match. Batschweiler FC's Henning Rohn got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arvid Köppe made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Köppe in the 52nd minute of play forced Batschweiler FC's goalkeeper Theo Schirmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henning Rohn got free with Angel Friess in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Safet Burgmeier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Theo Schirmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Ornecka Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rico Tilner to maneuver through the defense. Arvid Köppe took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theo Schirmer. Theo Schirmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Henning Rohn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Angel Friess made a huge save. 75 minutes into the game, Ornecka Fighters's Arvid Köppe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theo Schirmer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Safet Burgmeier struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Theo Schirmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ornecka Fighters. Theo Schirmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Safet Burgmeier in the 82nd minute of the match. Theo Schirmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arvid Köppe's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After 91 played minutes Ornecka Fighters got a freekick which was hit by Rico Tilner. Rico Tilner kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Uffe Grimminger sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ornecka Fighters's Angel Friess didn't even have to move. Henning Rohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
