Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alex Bannenberg made the kick off which started today's match. Niclas Gaab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchior Deicke in the 3rd minute of the match. Konrad Venzke might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niclas Gaab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Konrad Venzke ran back to his position shaking his head. Konrad Venzke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Konrad Venzke notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lohheide FSV's Niclas Gaab. Niclas Gaab was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. York Pickart kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Bannenberg in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heiner Nafz saved Hamburg Suns from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Alex Bannenberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Heiner Nafz to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 24 minutes, Steffen Umbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lohheide FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen Umbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melchior Deicke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Niclas Gaab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niclas Gaab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchior Deicke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Konrad Venzke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 48 minutes, Melchior Deicke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hamburg Suns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melchior Deicke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konrad Venzke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, York Pickart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchior Deicke got free with Niclas Gaab in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Winkel during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lohheide FSV getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Benjamin Winkel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by York Pickart in the 60th minute of play forced Lohheide FSV's goalkeeper Niclas Gaab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Steffen Umbach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lohheide FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Steffen Umbach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heiner Nafz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lohheide FSV's Alex Bannenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Steffen Umbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Melchior Deicke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Balduin Wassermann during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hamburg Suns's Balduin Wassermann got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Melchior Deicke got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Noll in the 83rd minute of play forced Lohheide FSV's goalkeeper Niclas Gaab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Noll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 88 minutes, York Pickart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hamburg Suns's supporters crossed their fingers, but York Pickart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Konrad Venzke struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Niclas Gaab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hamburg Suns. When Hamburg Suns's Konrad Venzke in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lohheide FSV's goalie prevented a goal.
