Philipp Kucharczyk started the match with the kick off. Paul Amelung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cord Wurfel in the 5th minute of the match. Paul Amelung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Kucharczyk in the 8th minute of play. Kurt Reim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Karsten Hußmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Richard Kalvelage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köchingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Kalvelage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute Richard Kalvelage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Hußmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Richard Kalvelage made the kick off in the second half. Kurt Reim was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Karsten Hußmann was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Richard Kalvelage capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Richard Kalvelage really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA's zone, Richard Kalvelage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karsten Hußmann came out of the goal and Richard Kalvelage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karsten Hußmann made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Kurt Reim sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Reim got free with Karsten Hußmann in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Mut during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Mut kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Philipp Kucharczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Paul Amelung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SPORT LISBOA E BENFICA's Philipp Kucharczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Köchingen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
