Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Großschwamborn's Thilo Knorr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Köllner in the 4th minute of play. Jörg Friedhoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Schütterle having to make a save. Paul Bökelmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Schütterle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörg Friedhoff in the 12th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, Wagenried FC's Norbert Elsässer made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thilo Knorr was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Heine notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Wagenried FC's Paul Schütterle. Paul Schütterle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute, Jörg Friedhoff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Großschwamborn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Paul Bökelmann came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Großschwamborn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Bökelmann couldn't finish the play. But to his dismay, Jörg Friedhoff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The Wagenried FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Großschwamborn were winning 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olaf Köllner was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Großschwamborn's Wilhelm Heine sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Schütterle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Großschwamborn's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paul Bökelmann in the 54th minute. Wilhelm Heine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Paul Schütterle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olaf Köllner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thilo Knorr having to interfere. A collision led to Wagenried FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Torbjörn Marcian hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Wagenried FC's Erhard Wittbusch got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jörg Friedhoff's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Paul Schütterle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paul Schütterle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Heine, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Faruk Kersken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute.
