Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilfried Kleppinger kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Kicker Krefeld's Curt Hourani got control of the ball when Robin Rinnerer tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfried Kleppinger in the 7th minute of play forced Hinteler FSV's goalkeeper Jörg Lindner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfried Kleppinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörg Lindner having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Hinteler FSV got a freekick which was hit by Bernhardt Bereths. In the 12th minute Wilfried Kleppinger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörg Lindner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernhardt Bereths hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Kicker Krefeld's Günther Manes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jörg Lindner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfried Kleppinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hinteler FSV's Jörg Lindner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfried Kleppinger in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Benedikt Nienhaus fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Curt Hourani, passed just outside the right post. With an all-out effort, Hinteler FSV's Curt Hourani threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benedikt Nienhaus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conny Mannheim in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörg Lindner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Bernhardt Bereths hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conny Mannheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jörg Lindner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Conny Mannheim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kicker Krefeld fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jörg Lindner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfried Kleppinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Conny Mannheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jörg Lindner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludwig Betz charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludwig Betz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedikt Nienhaus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Hinteler FSV's Sascha Mörner got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jörg Lindner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfried Kleppinger in the 67th minute of the match. Steffen Bürsch hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gunther Moldenhauer's late challenge caught a Hinteler FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunther Moldenhauer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hinteler FSV booed when Kicker Krefeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunther Moldenhauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Hinteler FSV's Nico Biber got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 87th minute, Conny Mannheim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jörg Lindner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 92 minutes into the match, Hinteler FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Betz came free, but Jörg Lindner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
