Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simeon Adamek started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Brenschede FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heiner Vielmann came free, but Udo Bokan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Owen Hoyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Udo Bokan made a huge save. Mark Zilles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simeon Adamek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Herbert Bräuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mark Zilles came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Brenschede FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Zilles couldn't finish the play. Heiner Vielmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brenschede FC's Simeon Adamek got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 21 minutes, Mark Zilles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brenschede FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Zilles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mark Zilles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Herbert Bräuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Brenschede FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernhard Friedrich. Max Bayer struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Udo Bokan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steckenborn FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Steckenborn FC's Heiner Vielmann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Udo Bokan. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. 36 minutes into the match, Steckenborn FC's Max Bayer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Udo Bokan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herbert Bräuer came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Brenschede FC's Simeon Adamek. But to his dismay, Simeon Adamek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Max Bayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Udo Bokan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiner Vielmann in the 52nd minute of the match. If Max Bayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heiner Vielmann scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Udo Bokan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Max Bayer came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Steckenborn FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Bayer couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute Simeon Adamek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Bräuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes, Brenschede FC's Roman Wienen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herbert Bräuer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brenschede FC reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ephraim Keil during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 72 minutes into the match, Steckenborn FC's goalkeeper Herbert Bräuer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Zilles. 77 minutes into the game, Heinz Meininger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Steckenborn FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brenschede FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Steckenborn FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Berthold Langer shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 81 minutes into the match, Steckenborn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simeon Adamek came free, but Herbert Bräuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Simeon Adamek came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Brenschede FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simeon Adamek couldn't finish the play. Brenschede FC's Udo Bokan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heiner Vielmann in the 92nd minute of play. When Brenschede FC's Simeon Adamek in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Steckenborn FC's goalie prevented a goal.
