Rosine's Daniel Benda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Rosine from getting a goal against them. Hasso Wochele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosine's Rene Waidler got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Elterlein's Hasso Wochele dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

61 minutes into the game, Ronald Carlsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Daniel Benda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute Felix Fritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Kalitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70thth minute of the game Felix Fritz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elterlein's Hugo Kalitta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rosine's zone, Hasso Wochele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Benda came out of the goal and Hasso Wochele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcel von Cube's late challenge caught a Elterlein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel von Cube helped the player get up and apologised. Marcel von Cube kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Rosine's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Carlsen came free, but Daniel Benda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hasso Wochele in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Benda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Jaap Diepmans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Benda. Rosine's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaap Diepmans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. With a little luck, Elterlein's Hugo Kalitta got control of the ball when Rene Waidler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronald Carlsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Benda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronald Carlsen ran back to his position shaking his head. When Marcel von Cube was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes had been played. After 98 played minutes Rosine got a freekick which was hit by Marcel von Cube. Tobias Biermann was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 99th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
