In the 11th minute Ben Trepoll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Eggerking saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Trepoll struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Hans Eggerking didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leumnitz FSV. Ronald Genthe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ronald Genthe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anselm Grill fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beetenbrück's protests and gave Anselm Grill a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Neubrandt came free in the 24th minute and tried to tip the ball over Hans Eggerking, but to the joy of Beetenbrück's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Gerd Hähnel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Eggerking having to interfere. Alex Schröder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Genthe, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Karl Wehners hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denny Bartel took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Schröder. Alex Schröder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gil Heinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Denny Bartel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Schröder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 49th minute, Denny Bartel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beetenbrück fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

58 minutes into the game, Leopold Kiefer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leumnitz FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beetenbrück the free kick. Alex Schröder went to the wrong direction when Karl Wehners was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ronald Genthe succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 64th playminute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ben Trepoll in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Eggerking prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Beetenbrück booed when Leumnitz FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Mosblech didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ronald Genthe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denny Bartel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Schröder having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Ben Trepoll left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leumnitz FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Beetenbrück's zone, Ben Trepoll stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Eggerking came out of the goal and Ben Trepoll tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ronald Genthe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beetenbrück's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald Genthe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Schröder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gerd Hähnel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beetenbrück's Hans Eggerking played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Trepoll in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Beetenbrück was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Heinen to maneuver through the defense. Leumnitz FSV's Ben Trepoll got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans Eggerking didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ben Trepoll went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Beetenbrück's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
