Mattis Schlode showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Glowacz, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Bertil Reffelmann hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Westhoven FC's August Sahr couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fc Frankenhain. The crowd rose to their feet as Elmar Ernst kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mattis Schlode. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. 13 minutes in the game, Eugen Glowacz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mattis Schlode having to interfere. Gil Remus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Richard Kurth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugen Glowacz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mattis Schlode having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Frankenhain's Elmar Ernst slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mattis Schlode. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. Mattis Schlode made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Eugen Glowacz sent off a good shot on target. Viktor Keirath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fc Frankenhain's Elmar Ernst in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Westhoven FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 37 played minutes Westhoven FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerold Stieglitz. 38 minutes into the match, Fc Frankenhain's Erdal Pleschke broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Eugen Glowacz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Westhoven FC booed when Fc Frankenhain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jobst Mayer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregor Mitsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Kurth having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elmar Ernst made a kick off. With a little luck, Fc Frankenhain's Richard Kurth got control of the ball when Gil Remus tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Elmar Ernst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Frankenhain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elmar Ernst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Westhoven FC's Mattis Schlode played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Glowacz in the 61st minute of play. Bertil Reffelmann's late challenge caught a Westhoven FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertil Reffelmann helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 minutes, Konstantin Kuczinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Frankenhain and the Westhoven FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Viktor Keirath blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Kurth having to make a save. In the 74th minute, Gil Remus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Fabian Belz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Elmar Ernst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Elmar Ernst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Frankenhain's supporters rose to their feet, but Elmar Ernst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattis Schlode breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugen Glowacz in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mattis Schlode prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugen Glowacz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mattis Schlode tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elmar Ernst struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Mattis Schlode didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Frankenhain. When Eugen Glowacz came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Fc Frankenhain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugen Glowacz couldn't finish the play. Viktor Keirath had several of the Fc Frankenhain's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 98 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Richard Kurth as he didn't even see the shot coming. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
