Wolfgang Gläßel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Hensel in the 14th minute of the match. Luca Huthmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Aschemann, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Friedrich Gotthard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Klause FSV getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Kamil Hof hit a great ball. Wolfgang Gläßel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Friedrich Gotthard in the 25th minute of play. When Hövelhof FSV's Friedrich Gotthard in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luca Huthmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Aschemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Friedrich Gotthard came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Hövelhof FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Friedrich Gotthard couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Aschemann to make the kick off. After 77 played minutes, Klause FSV's Douglas von Stein shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luca Huthmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Klause FSV reached it. If Kamil Hof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hövelhof FSV's Luca Huthmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamil Hof in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Jan Nuphaus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Klause FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hövelhof FSV the free kick. The supporters of Hövelhof FSV booed when Klause FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Nuphaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Safet Kohlstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
