Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wulf Weißbach got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Klein Aukens's Ernst Balko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davor Mielers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ron Herz hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bockenbaum's zone, Wulf Weißbach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davor Mielers came out of the goal and Wulf Weißbach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Klein Aukens's Helmut Frenzle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Klein Aukens from getting a goal against them. Karl Martin Pilz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marc-Dominic Protze during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marc-Dominic Protze kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, one of Klein Aukens:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Bockenbaum. Yussuf Marchl stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Helmut Frenzle. 1-1. Karl Martin Pilz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Helmut Frenzle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ernst Balko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davor Mielers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 35 minutes, Kaspar Türke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Klein Aukens and the Bockenbaum players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yussuf Marchl was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Theodor Winzen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute of the match Mario Magath shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davor Mielers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 44th match minute, Bockenbaum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludo Krenn to maneuver through the defense. Davor Mielers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Balko in the 45th minute of play. Wulf Weißbach might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davor Mielers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wulf Weißbach ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 51 played minutes Klein Aukens got a freekick which was hit by Richard Badde. Ludo Krenn hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Kaspar Türke from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Davor Mielers's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Wulf Weißbach might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davor Mielers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wulf Weißbach ran back to his position shaking his head. Davor Mielers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernst Balko in the 73rd minute. If Karl Martin Pilz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodor Winzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Frenzle having to interfere. Marc-Dominic Protze got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Marc-Dominic Protze hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Helmut Frenzle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Martin Pilz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Karl Martin Pilz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernst Balko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davor Mielers having to interfere.
