Davor Mielers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunter Paulus in the 9th minute of play. Toni Nissen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Davor Mielers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Toni Nissen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VFTTF ESSINGEN 2023 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Karl Martin Pilz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Theodor Winzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Martin Pilz in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eike Godenschwengen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 42 minutes into the match, Bockenbaum's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Schubeus came free, but Davor Mielers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Theodor Winzen to make the kick off. The supporters of Bockenbaum booed when VFTTF ESSINGEN 2023 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunter Paulus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bockenbaum's Davor Mielers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Bockenbaum from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, VFTTF ESSINGEN 2023's goal looked a bit too open when Theodor Winzen came free, but Eike Godenschwengen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davor Mielers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gunter Paulus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davor Mielers having to interfere. 80 minutes in the game, Gunter Paulus fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Davor Mielers having to interfere. Gunter Paulus might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davor Mielers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gunter Paulus ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl Martin Pilz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toni Nissen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Davor Mielers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theodor Winzen struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Eike Godenschwengen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bockenbaum. After 88 minutes of play, Bockenbaum's Karl Martin Pilz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eike Godenschwengen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Karl Martin Pilz made a precise shot to the right of Eike Godenschwengen. VFTTF ESSINGEN 2023's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Davor Mielers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunter Paulus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bockenbaum were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of VFTTF ESSINGEN 2023 for a fine match.
