Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Christian Sass made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, Fritz Ernst Breidert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Holger Grohganz. Fritz Ernst Breidert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Leutra FSV getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Fritz Ernst Breidert hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Leutra FSV defense, Christian Sass kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dominik Pier. The Leutra FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dominik Pier should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hennes Ohmer in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominik Pier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harald Arielsen's late challenge caught a Stallau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harald Arielsen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Harald Arielsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oka Trepoll hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Leutra FSV got a freekick which was hit by Gernot Scherbaum. In the 28th minute, Nico Stieglitz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Leutra FSV's Dominik Pier didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Uwe Zamtaradse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stallau's supporters rose to their feet, but Uwe Zamtaradse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominik Pier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Leutra FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Sass came free, but Dominik Pier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugh Pleschke in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominik Pier saved Leutra FSV from getting behind. After 35 minutes Leutra FSV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nico Stieglitz who took care of the corner kick. Nico Stieglitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Pier having to interfere. Nico Stieglitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dominik Pier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominik Pier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Sass in the 42nd minute of the match. If Gunter Reichenbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lutz Ressemann to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Leutra FSV's Olaf Elzner got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Christian Sass left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stallau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Hennes Ohmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hennes Ohmer came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Stallau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hennes Ohmer couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Leutra FSV's zone, Hugh Pleschke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Pier came out of the goal and Hugh Pleschke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Stieglitz got free with Dominik Pier in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Stallau's Christian Sass ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dominik Pier. Dominik Pier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leutra FSV's goalkeeper Dominik Pier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leutra FSV's Dominik Pier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Leutra FSV from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leutra FSV's goalkeeper Dominik Pier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nico Stieglitz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Dominik Pier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over Stallau could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Leutra FSV throughout the match.
