The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Neu Oese FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Kronig. After having played for 6 minutes, Cliff Moder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FFC Sturm Berlin 24's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cliff Moder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrien Waschke in the 9th minute of play forced Neu Oese FC's goalkeeper Dominik Plappert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Plappert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Schmidtschaff in the 16th minute of play. Adrien Waschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 minutes, Arthur Schmidtschaff made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Neu Oese FC's Dominik Plappert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dominik Plappert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrien Waschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adrien Waschke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Rexhaus struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Marcel Krummacher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neu Oese FC. 47 minutes into the match, FFC Sturm Berlin 24's Adrien Waschke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominik Plappert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Rexhaus was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Pitt Amelung was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neu Oese FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FFC Sturm Berlin 24 the free kick. Pitt Amelung hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Adrien Waschke managed to get in a good position for a shot. FFC Sturm Berlin 24's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrien Waschke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominik Plappert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arthur Schmidtschaff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the game, Tarik Lapczinski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 89th minute, Christos Brehm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match FFC Sturm Berlin 24 got a corner. Neu Oese FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cliff Moder ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cliff Moder made a great header on FFC Sturm Berlin 24's corner, it was just that Neu Oese FC's Dominik Plappert managed to reach the ball for a save. Neu Oese FC's Dominik Plappert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrien Waschke in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Arthur Schmidtschaff notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Neu Oese FC's Dominik Plappert.
