Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kornelius König made the kick off which started today's match. Laurence Böhland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niko Schieber in the 3rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ostdeutschland defense, Ubbo Herbers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laurence Böhland. The Ostdeutschland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laurence Böhland should have stopped the shot. Laurence Böhland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niko Schieber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SC Einheit Burg booed when Ostdeutschland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingo Paule didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubbo Herbers scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laurence Böhland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th match minute, Ostdeutschland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingo Paule to maneuver through the defense. Ubbo Herbers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Böhland having to interfere. Ingo Paule took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philipp Landgraf. Philipp Landgraf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Niko Schieber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philipp Landgraf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kornelius König, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kornelius König came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Ostdeutschland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kornelius König couldn't finish the play. Ubbo Herbers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Böhland having to interfere. In the 48th match minute, SC Einheit Burg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Gerhardt to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ostdeutschland's goalkeeper Laurence Böhland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Alexander Pechstein fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ostdeutschland's protests and gave Alexander Pechstein a yellow card for diving instead. Silvain Zimmermann charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvain Zimmermann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Silvain Zimmermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ostdeutschland's zone, Ubbo Herbers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurence Böhland came out of the goal and Ubbo Herbers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kornelius König in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philipp Landgraf saved SC Einheit Burg from getting behind. SC Einheit Burg's Philipp Landgraf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kornelius König in the 68th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ubbo Herbers could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Laurence Böhland however easily saved by the left post. Ubbo Herbers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laurence Böhland having to make a save. Laurence Böhland made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ubbo Herbers sent off a good shot on target. Ubbo Herbers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Böhland having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niko Schieber in the 91st minute of play forced Ostdeutschland's goalkeeper Laurence Böhland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philipp Landgraf came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ostdeutschland's Kornelius König. But to his dismay, Kornelius König quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
