The crowd rose to their feet as Simon Klause kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Walther Beuermann. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Simon Klause sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ralf Leßing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moritz Brechbilder struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Nikolaus Männel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TSV Altenmarkt. With a little luck, TSV Altenmarkt's Walther Beuermann got control of the ball when Ralf Leßing tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Moritz Brechbilder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esch's Nikolaus Männel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nikolaus Männel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Gabe in the 37th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Klause was the one to do the kick off. Reiko Krosigk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reiko Krosigk kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Esch's keeper Nikolaus Männel was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 55 minutes into the match, Esch's goal looked a bit too open when Moritz Brechbilder came free, but Nikolaus Männel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Reiko Krosigk made a precise shot to the right of Nikolaus Männel. Esch's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raik Steinmetz during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raik Steinmetz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Conrad Stapel was slow to take the kick. During this time TSV Altenmarkt's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on TSV Altenmarkt's corner Conrad Stapel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nikolaus Männel quite easily take care of the ball. Despite being the better team, TSV Altenmarkt failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
