After having played for 4 minutes, Reiko Krosigk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV Altenmarkt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reiko Krosigk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mattes Reincke's late challenge caught a Holzgerlingen FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattes Reincke helped the player get up and apologised. Mattes Reincke kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Moritz Brechbilder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17thth minute of the game Batho Söldner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TSV Altenmarkt's Walther Beuermann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lars Binninger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walther Beuermann having to interfere. Batho Söldner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reiko Krosigk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lance Kruse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lars Binninger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Walther Beuermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batho Söldner in the 27th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Reiko Krosigk took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lance Kruse to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd minute Moritz Brechbilder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Kruse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, TSV Altenmarkt's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Binninger came free, but Walther Beuermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Sigurd Berthelé hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moritz Brechbilder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Moritz Brechbilder scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lance Kruse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Walther Beuermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batho Söldner in the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Holzgerlingen FSV defense, Reiko Krosigk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lance Kruse. The Holzgerlingen FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lance Kruse should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reiko Krosigk in the 69th minute of play forced Holzgerlingen FSV's goalkeeper Lance Kruse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TSV Altenmarkt's Reiko Krosigk got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lance Kruse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moritz Brechbilder, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Lance Kruse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reiko Krosigk in the 81st minute of play. Moritz Brechbilder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Kruse having to interfere. If Moritz Brechbilder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TSV Altenmarkt fully deserved thier win.
