In the 8th match minute, Vfl-327 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Baum to maneuver through the defense. Gustav Schabbel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Derek Mrozik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th match minute, Vfl-327 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Butzendorf to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Winfried Kochert in the 17th minute of play forced Berge United's goalkeeper Niklaus Schubert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Derek Mrozik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Michail Ernstberger made a huge save. When Max Woltemade fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vfl-327's protests and gave Max Woltemade a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Max Woltemade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Derek Mrozik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gustav Schabbel came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Berge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustav Schabbel couldn't finish the play. After 34 minutes, Jens Baum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vfl-327 and the Berge United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vfl-327 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jens Baum hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Berge United's Mathias Michael Bechstein got a free kick in the 36th minute. Michail Ernstberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Schabbel in the 41st minute of the match. Derek Mrozik scored 2-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michail Ernstberger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gustav Schabbel came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Berge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustav Schabbel couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Michail Ernstberger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustav Schabbel's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes Winfried Kochert rounded Berge United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Michail Ernstberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derek Mrozik, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Vfl-327 booed when Berge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Eichhorn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Butzendorf, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Berge United's goalkeeper Niklaus Schubert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pitt Hornung. Pitt Hornung struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Niklaus Schubert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vfl-327. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Winfried Kochert in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niklaus Schubert saved Berge United from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Mathias Michael Bechstein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vfl-327's zone, Gustav Schabbel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michail Ernstberger came out of the goal and Gustav Schabbel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Derek Mrozik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Michail Ernstberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dierk Demelbauer during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dierk Demelbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Winfried Kochert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vfl-327's supporters crossed their fingers, but Winfried Kochert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Berge United's Arnold Bleile got a free kick in the 88th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Jan Butzendorf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vfl-327's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Butzendorf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Winfried Kochert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Niklaus Schubert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pitt Hornung who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Niklaus Schubert when he managed to save the team from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vfl-327 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Berge United.
