Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Winfried Kochert made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 4 minutes, Jens Baum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vfl-327's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens Baum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Winfried Kochert hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Pitt Hornung had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wayne Schlagbauer. Ballstedt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pitt Hornung was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Vfl-327's Nicolai Schlebusch got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th play minute Helmut Fuchs came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Michail Ernstberger. 1-1. Ballstedt's Helmut Fuchs got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Ballstedt's Thomas Ballheim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michail Ernstberger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mauritz Sakellariou hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ballstedt's zone, Winfried Kochert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wayne Schlagbauer came out of the goal and Winfried Kochert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Winfried Kochert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wayne Schlagbauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pitt Hornung in the 21st minute of play. Oleg Hemmerlein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Michail Ernstberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oleg Hemmerlein in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Michail Ernstberger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Franz Gravius sped through Vfl-327's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michail Ernstberger. Michail Ernstberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Ballheim in the 32nd minute of play. Vfl-327's Michail Ernstberger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Vfl-327 from getting a goal against them. Wayne Schlagbauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pitt Hornung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Winfried Kochert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Helmut Fuchs fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Helmut Fuchs to strike the kick off in the second half. Helmut Fuchs might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michail Ernstberger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Helmut Fuchs ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute, Helmut Fuchs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wayne Schlagbauer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pitt Hornung in the 58th minute. In the 66th minute, Jens Baum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Jürg Jakob was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vfl-327's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballstedt the free kick. Ballstedt made a substitution. Ali Ertan Schenck replaced Thomas Ballheim. After 68 played minutes Vfl-327 got a freekick which was hit by Jürg Jakob. Helmut Fuchs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ballstedt's Oleg Hemmerlein in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vfl-327's goalie prevented a goal. Oleg Hemmerlein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Michail Ernstberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Ballstedt's goal looked a bit too open when Winfried Kochert came free, but Wayne Schlagbauer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vfl-327's Jürg Jakob got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 87th match minute, Ballstedt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorsten Schieder to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Helmut Fuchs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michail Ernstberger was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Pitt Hornung came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wayne Schlagbauer could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Ertan Schenck in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michail Ernstberger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michail Ernstberger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helmut Fuchs's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Ballstedt walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
