Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ahmed Knop kicked off to start the match. When Dresden FSV's Bernard Hirz in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Preußen Münster's goalie prevented a goal. After 13 minutes, Klemens Kriebel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Preußen Münster and the Dresden FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Preußen Münster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klemens Kriebel to maneuver through the defense. Siegfried Jaser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Hirz in the 20th minute of the match. Ringo Obele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 played minutes Dresden FSV got a freekick which was hit by Vito Röring. In the 33rd minute Johannes Bettinger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siegfried Jaser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Dresden FSV a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wolfgang Busch, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Preußen Münster's Siegfried Jaser. 1-2. Bernard Hirz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Siegfried Jaser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sven Gallasch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Preußen Münster booed when Dresden FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Bettinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ringo Obele struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Gerrit Schnehage didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Preußen Münster. Ringo Obele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerrit Schnehage having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven Gallasch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Max Brass came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Preußen Münster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Brass couldn't finish the play. Sven Gallasch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Siegfried Jaser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magnus Marx charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magnus Marx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Preußen Münster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Marx to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Preußen Münster's goalkeeper Siegfried Jaser had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernard Hirz. Ringo Obele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerrit Schnehage having to interfere. After 67 played minutes, Dresden FSV's Walter Goss shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Siegfried Jaser came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dresden FSV reached it. The supporters of Dresden FSV booed when Preußen Münster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Brass didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Siegfried Jaser successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Gallasch in the 70th minute of play forced Preußen Münster's goalkeeper Siegfried Jaser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ringo Obele might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerrit Schnehage. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ringo Obele ran back to his position shaking his head. Siegfried Jaser made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernard Hirz in the 74th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Sven Gallasch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Preußen Münster's Siegfried Jaser was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernard Hirz struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Siegfried Jaser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dresden FSV. If Bernard Hirz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Sven Gallasch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Siegfried Jaser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Gallasch in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dresden FSV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
