If Roland Gehring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Terhalle FSV's goalkeeper Marc Wolf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Gehring. If Fabian Schrappe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christopher Gäbelein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Nadel having to interfere. Björn Nadel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Gäbelein, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Benstorf FSV's Björn Nadel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Schrappe in the 20th minute of play. When Benstorf FSV's Roland Gehring in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Terhalle FSV's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brandon Danczyk during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roland Gehring in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marc Wolf, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 44th minute Sascha Schnabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Wolf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Gehring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Christopher Gäbelein made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Terhalle FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Kerth to maneuver through the defense. Roland Gehring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Wolf having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Sascha Schnabel notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Terhalle FSV's Marc Wolf. Marc Wolf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Terhalle FSV's zone, Roland Gehring stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Wolf came out of the goal and Roland Gehring tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Obereiner during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Frank Obereiner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sascha Schnabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Nadel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Kerth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Terhalle FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Sascha Schnabel came free, but Marc Wolf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benstorf FSV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
