Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sören Chaker started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sören Chaker in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eckehard Dörnbrack prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Magdeburg Sport Verein's goalkeeper Eckehard Dörnbrack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Landgraf. After 16 played minutes Magdeburg Sport Verein got a freekick which was hit by Armin Sckerl. Casimir Fassbender scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eckehard Dörnbrack, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Casimir Fassbender sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that David Schneck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lajos Splett was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Magdeburg Sport Verein's Eckehard Dörnbrack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Landgraf in the 30th minute of play. Björn Kläsener charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Björn Kläsener the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Magdeburg Sport Verein getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Björn Kläsener hit a great ball. David Schneck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lajos Splett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sarreit FC's Stefan Landgraf got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Sarreit FC's Sören Chaker in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Magdeburg Sport Verein's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Schneck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Finn Aydin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magdeburg Sport Verein and the Sarreit FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Finn Aydin hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Stefan Landgraf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarreit FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Landgraf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eckehard Dörnbrack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casimir Fassbender took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eckehard Dörnbrack. Eckehard Dörnbrack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Berthold Zellner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Lajos Splett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sarreit FC's Immanuel Arndt was substituted for Hennes Trenke. Eckehard Dörnbrack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Landgraf, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Magdeburg Sport Verein's goal looked a bit too open when Casimir Fassbender came free, but Eckehard Dörnbrack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Berthold Zellner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bastian Rühmann hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Lajos Splett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Schneck in the 88th minute of play. Eckehard Dörnbrack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dierk Strobl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magdeburg Sport Verein's Eckehard Dörnbrack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Chaker in the 91st minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Magdeburg Sport Verein players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sarreit FC.
