When Tibor Lamp was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. The supporters of Sainerholz booed when Pulheim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Bellmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The Sainerholz players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
