Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vladimir Ansieg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bernd Schreiber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimir Ansieg went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Raiko Braunheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Schreiber having to interfere. Bernd Schreiber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Ansieg in the 12th minute of play. If Raiko Braunheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raiko Braunheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jörg Reinhardt, 49 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tim Pickhardt made the kick off in the second half. Vladimir Ansieg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Schadewohl FC's Pierre-André Scharnhorst got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Ansieg in the 59th minute of play forced Schadewohl FC's goalkeeper Bernd Schreiber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vladimir Ansieg in the 60th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Bernd Schreiber kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 64th minute of the match Phil Hübener sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernd Schreiber skillfully saved the ball. Raiko Braunheim might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernd Schreiber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raiko Braunheim ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven Deiker hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Vladimir Ansieg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vladimir Ansieg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Schreiber having to interfere. If Vladimir Ansieg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raiko Braunheim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mike Rauhs short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Bernd Schreiber to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Raiko Braunheim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hertha BSC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raiko Braunheim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernd Schreiber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raiko Braunheim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Hertha BSC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Schadewohl FC.
