Winfried Gref showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siegmund Scholze in the 22nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philip Gögge in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dieter Vollmann saved Boisenhausen from getting behind. Ludwig Langguth charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludwig Langguth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Ludwig Langguth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Kummel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieter Vollmann having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Boisenhausen's zone, Frank Leichsenring stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dieter Vollmann came out of the goal and Frank Leichsenring tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nordholt FSV's Fred Kummel got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Philip Gögge, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dieter Vollmann was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Karl Kurrer struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Kummel got free with Dieter Vollmann in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The nice shot from Fred Kummel in the 63rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Dieter Vollmann had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Bernd Sagel hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Ludwig Langguth was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Boisenhausen's Ludwig Langguth got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Philip Gögge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dieter Vollmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Gögge in the 75th minute of the match. Fred Kummels short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Dieter Vollmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Boisenhausen defense, Fred Kummel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dieter Vollmann. The Boisenhausen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dieter Vollmann should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute, Philip Gögge made a precise shot to the right of Dieter Vollmann. Boisenhausen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Dieter Vollmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Kummel in the 87th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Fred Kummel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dieter Vollmann. Fred Kummel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Fred Kummel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
