Dominik Clemens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aidenried's Daniel Schöner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Eberl in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Clemens in the 12th minute of play forced Aidenried's goalkeeper Daniel Schöner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Leon Eberl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aidenried's Daniel Schöner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörg Kastner in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mirko Borgwardt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Mirko Borgwardt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mirko Borgwardt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolai Schrempp in the 18th minute. After 23 minutes of play, FC Groucho's Ingo Rechmann made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Schöner was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Groucho's Wolfgang Kieß got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the last second Mirko Borgwardt throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jörg Kastner in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 36th minute Leon Eberl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Schöner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Groucho booed when Aidenried was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kai-Christian Schwarzbäcker didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Groucho's Leon Eberl got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dominik Clemens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Daniel Schöner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Aidenried's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Eberl came free, but Daniel Schöner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Aidenried getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mirko Nowotny hit a great ball. If Jörg Kastner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leon Eberl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörg Kastner couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Ingo Rechmann took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Daniel Schöner to make any attempt to save it. FC Groucho's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
