Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Bärenkicker's Xavier Wohlgemuth started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Erwin Braunert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roter Stern Leipzig and the SC Bärenkicker players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xavier Wohlgemuth took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christof Zeh. Christof Zeh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Christof Zeh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uwe Ahlgrimm in the 7th minute of the match. When Xavier Wohlgemuth fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bärenkicker's protests and gave Xavier Wohlgemuth a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Roter Stern Leipzig booed when SC Bärenkicker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Wohlgemuth didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 11th minute of the match Erwin Braunert completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Xavier Wohlgemuth managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bärenkicker's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Wohlgemuth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christof Zeh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Xavier Wohlgemuth came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the SC Bärenkicker fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Wohlgemuth couldn't finish the play. Gunter Weischede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Christof Zeh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavier Wohlgemuth scored 3-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christof Zeh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gunter Weischede was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A hard shot 48 in the game by Xavier Wohlgemuth from a close distance when the talented Christof Zeh managed to make a qualified save. Roter Stern Leipzig's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Christof Zeh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavier Wohlgemuth's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cord Rädel got free with Don Mauer in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SC Bärenkicker's Axel Buschkamp got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Eidur Seppmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Don Mauer. SC Bärenkicker's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eidur Seppmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Xavier Wohlgemuth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, SC Bärenkicker's Gunter Weischede nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christof Zeh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Xavier Wohlgemuth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Christof Zeh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Gunter Weischede left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Bärenkicker fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2.
