Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Uwe Ahlgrimm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wendelin Behringer having to interfere. The supporters of SC Bärenkicker booed when FSV Harz Thale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hauke Lieser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Don Mauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lou Reimann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Don Mauer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lou Reimann went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, FSV Harz Thale's Albin Reinisch got a free kick in the 11th minute. Gregorij Sikirski kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Uwe Ahlgrimm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FSV Harz Thale getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gonzalo Decius hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, FSV Harz Thale's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe Ahlgrimm came free, but Wendelin Behringer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wendelin Behringer came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Bärenkicker's Xavier Wohlgemuth. But to his dismay, Xavier Wohlgemuth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, SC Bärenkicker's Heiko Strauß got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Lou Reimann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FSV Harz Thale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Don Mauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hauke Lieser in the 37th minute of play. If Xavier Wohlgemuth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achim Börnsen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Uwe Ahlgrimm hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Ehrhard Barthle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lou Reimann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Don Mauer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the SC Bärenkicker defense, Gonzalo Decius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Don Mauer. The SC Bärenkicker fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Don Mauer should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xavier Wohlgemuth to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Hauke Lieser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Harz Thale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hauke Lieser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Don Mauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lou Reimann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 played minutes, FSV Harz Thale's Gregorij Sikirski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Don Mauer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FSV Harz Thale reached it. The audience was convinced that Xavier Wohlgemuth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wendelin Behringer was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Hermann Bökelmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Don Mauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lou Reimann in the 62nd minute of the match. If Xavier Wohlgemuth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th minute, Hauke Lieser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Gunter Weischede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorij Sikirski's late challenge caught a SC Bärenkicker's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorij Sikirski helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FSV Harz Thale! Gunter Weischede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Wendelin Behringer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Wohlgemuth in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wendelin Behringer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hermann Bökelmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Don Mauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lou Reimann in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute, one of FSV Harz Thale:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FSV Harz Thale. The referee gave SC Bärenkicker a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gunter Weischede, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FSV Harz Thale's Wendelin Behringer. 3-4. In the 93rd minute of the match, Hauke Lieser tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Don Mauer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 95th minute Lou Reimann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Don Mauer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Don Mauer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gonzalo Decius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-5 in the 96 minute of play. Uwe Ahlgrimm took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wendelin Behringer. Wendelin Behringer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-5. Chants of FSV Harz Thale echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as SC Bärenkicker had held the ball for most of the match.
