Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Roter Stern Leipzig's Volkmar Greilich started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Kareth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayden Metz to maneuver through the defense. Volkmar Greilich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heinrich Graf having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Godo Dormuth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roter Stern Leipzig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kareth FC the free kick. After 9 played minutes Roter Stern Leipzig got a freekick which was hit by Godo Dormuth. Volkmar Dahl hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Heinrich Graf came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Roter Stern Leipzig's Volkmar Greilich. But to his dismay, Volkmar Greilich quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Eidur Seppmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kareth FC's Lorenz Auerbach got a free kick in the 21st minute. Heinrich Graf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volkmar Greilich in the 21st minute of play. Kosmas Knauf's late challenge caught a Roter Stern Leipzig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kosmas Knauf helped the player get up and apologised. Volkmar Greilich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eidur Seppmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Roter Stern Leipzig's Volkmar Greilich in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kareth FC's goalie prevented a goal. Christof Zeh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloys Kosner in the 30th minute of the match. Aloys Kosner struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Christof Zeh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kareth FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Volkmar Greilich in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heinrich Graf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kosmas Knauf hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Eidur Seppmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christof Zeh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvar Biehl's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Roter Stern Leipzig getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Godo Dormuth hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Roter Stern Leipzig got a freekick which was hit by Godo Dormuth. 68 minutes into the match, Roter Stern Leipzig's goal looked a bit too open when Alvar Biehl came free, but Christof Zeh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aloys Kosner might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christof Zeh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aloys Kosner ran back to his position shaking his head. Heinrich Graf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volkmar Greilich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Volkmar Greilich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heinrich Graf having to interfere. When Roter Stern Leipzig's Volkmar Greilich in 80 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Heinrich Graf guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Alvar Biehl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörg Bechert during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, one of Kareth FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kareth FC. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Roter Stern Leipzig. Quentin Brantwein stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Heinrich Graf. 0-2. Eidur Seppmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Heinrich Graf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heinrich Graf was a little too slow when Volkmar Greilich got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Roter Stern Leipzig had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
