Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jo Jahn took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Idelberg's zone, Ersan Weidlandt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Haemer came out of the goal and Ersan Weidlandt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jo Jahn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hannes Beiche came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Idelberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hannes Beiche couldn't finish the play. Idelberg's Gil Haemer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Idelberg from getting a goal against them. Jo Jahn struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Gil Haemer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Wehen Wiesbaden. The nice shot from Ersan Weidlandt in the 15thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Gil Haemer had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Gil Haemer made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ersan Weidlandt sent off a good shot on target. In the 21stth minute of the game Jo Jahn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Idelberg's Gil Haemer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jo Jahn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gil Haemer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hannes Beiche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ursus Pfeffer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Szolkowy in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marc Szolkowy to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Marc Szolkowy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ursus Pfeffer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Haemer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ersan Weidlandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Ursus Pfeffer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc Szolkowy in the 58th minute. After 60 played minutes Idelberg got a freekick which was hit by Eppo Reents. If Ersan Weidlandt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pjotr Streich hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Hannes Beiche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Idelberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannes Beiche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ursus Pfeffer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hannes Beiche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ursus Pfeffer having to interfere. If Ersan Weidlandt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes Idelberg got a freekick which was hit by Michael Teufel. Ursus Pfeffer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Szolkowy in the 81st minute of the match. Gil Haemer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ersan Weidlandt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Haemer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ersan Weidlandt went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gil Haemer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Jahn in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to Idelberg getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Axel Funk hit a great ball. Jo Jahn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Haemer having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
