Eugen Wentzel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Kümmern FC's Thilo Gunter Frittrang got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Eugen Wentzel came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Kümmern FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugen Wentzel couldn't finish the play. When Ausbüttel FC's Sebastian Münstermann in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ausbüttel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugen Wentzel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thilo Gunter Frittrang charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thilo Gunter Frittrang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Kümmern FC got a freekick which was hit by Thilo Gunter Frittrang. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theodor Kirchhoff made a kick off.
