Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Markus Hanke kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Hanke in the 8th minute of play forced FC Bayern München's goalkeeper Arnold Bauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to Aufurth FC's Ismail Wager getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Markus Hanke struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Arnold Bauer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aufurth FC. Arnold Bauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin-Kenan Göbel in the 15th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Strauch during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Fabian Strauch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Markus Hanke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gedeon Abergell fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bayern München's protests and gave Gedeon Abergell a yellow card for diving instead. FC Bayern München's Arnold Bauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Hanke in the 26th minute of play. Markus Hanke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnold Bauer having to interfere. If Stefan Breiffel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Markus Hanke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnold Bauer. FC Bayern München's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Markus Hanke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arnold Bauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Hanke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Aufurth FC booed when FC Bayern München was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lothar Heim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ewald Blumenthal kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
If Stefan Breiffel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Gero Partsch managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bayern München's supporters rose to their feet, but Gero Partsch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lothar Scharpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gero Partsch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gero Partsch in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lothar Scharpe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lothar Scharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Breiffel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Hanke in the 74th minute of play forced FC Bayern München's goalkeeper Arnold Bauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, FC Bayern München's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Hanke came free, but Arnold Bauer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Aufurth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wofgang Schelp came free, but Lothar Scharpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnold Bauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edbert Darmstadt in the 93rd minute of play. 99 minutes into the game, Lothar Heim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bayern München's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aufurth FC the free kick. In the 99th match minute, FC Bayern München was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lothar Heim to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Aufurth FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
