Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pat Kiepsch got the match started through his kick off. When Helmar Kissling fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meyer Zu Bargholz's protests and gave Helmar Kissling a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Pat Kiepsch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gernot Witty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pekko Langer kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Meyer Zu Bargholz's Hennes Remus shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Matthew Brand but with some difficulty. 17 minutes into the game, one of Schnetlage FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hennes Remus placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Gernot Witty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Steen Mendel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Matthew Brand managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Meyer Zu Bargholz's Gernot Witty fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Schnetlage FC's Matthew Brand got control of the ball when Gernot Witty tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Meyer Zu Bargholz's Sven Aschenbrenner in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Sven Aschenbrenner made the kick off in the second half. Matthew Brand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Aschenbrenner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Schnetlage FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Olaf Schumann hit a great ball. In the 65thth minute of the game Sven Aschenbrenner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schnetlage FC's Matthew Brand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Hennes Remus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthew Brand skillfully saved the ball. Gernot Witty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matthew Brand having to make a save. After having played for 73 minutes, Olaf Schumann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schnetlage FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olaf Schumann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven Aschenbrenner in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthew Brand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Aschenbrenner in the 85th minute of play forced Schnetlage FC's goalkeeper Matthew Brand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthew Brand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Aschenbrenner in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Gernot Witty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernot Witty in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matthew Brand saved Schnetlage FC from getting behind. When Meyer Zu Bargholz's Sven Aschenbrenner in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Schnetlage FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Meyer Zu Bargholz fans cheered their team off the field, for while Schnetlage FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
