Ferdinand Bensch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Schwab having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ferdinand Bensch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinand Bensch to make the kick off. Zlatan Weilbächer hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Marcus Grauslich charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Grauslich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Konrad Thaler made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Arian Renner sent off a good shot on target. Samir Engbertz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Samir Engbertz fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melle's protests and gave Samir Engbertz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Melle's Samir Engbertz got a free kick in the 76th minute. Knut Schwab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Bensch, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Hurensöhne FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
